Frozen Yogurt 3 Ways with Yoplait Trix Yogurt

More often than not, yogurt is stored in our freezer at home. We eat it more that way than we do just as creamy yogurt from the refrigerator. Here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy yogurt in its frozen form for both young and old.

• On a stick: If youre a popsicle lover, this is the one for you. Its absolutely simple, and its fun for the kids. The Trix yogurt works great because you still get to see the swirl, and what kid doesnt love a multi-colored popsicle?
• Yogurt Drops: Good on their own, these tiny frozen drops are perfectly poppable. They change up the yogurt after-school snack in a way thats fun and exciting.
• Smoothie in a Bag: A ready-to-go smoothie is a great way to enjoy yogurt and get in a few servings of fruit at the same time. Just dump it in your blender or Magic Bullet, blend and pop a straw in it.

Packing School Lunches With Yoplait Trix Yogurt

Weve been back to school for two weeks now. My kids take their lunches to school every day. We purchased lunch containers that we can insert inside of their lunch boxes that allow us to not only keep the foods separate and fresh but use portion control as well. Keeping things fresh and FUN isnt always easy. Kids get bored. They like variety. I find that if theyre actually involved in MAKING their lunch they tend to eat it and not come home with bits and pieces left inside. We pack the lunches the night before so we dont have to worry with it in the morning when were frantically trying to get out of the door.
In addition to sandwiches, which we try and make differently to keep things interesting (roll ups, no bread at all, cut out sandwiches etc.) we strive to have fruit and veggies as well as a special treat. They love Yoplait Trix yogurt and I love that its good for them. Its also the perfect portion size and fits beautifully inside their lunch containers. Win. Win.

Easy Peasy After School Snacks: Pretzels Dipped In Yoplait Trix Yogurt

Its back to school time. My kids always come home from school starving. Immediately after they come in the door and dump their book bags and shoes in the foyer, sigh, they head to the kitchen and open the refrigerator door. I try to steer them towards something small, healthy and filling to tide them over until dinner. We shared Yogurt Dipped Strawberries the other day and today were sharing a sweet and salty snack option. Pretzels dipped in yogurt. Theyre sweet, salty, satisfying and come together in a snap.

Theyre a great alternative to pretzels dipped in chocolate.

Yogurt Dipped Pretzels
What youll need:
Yoplait Trix Yogurt of choice
small pretzels

What to do:
1. Dip pretzels into yogurt.

2. Transfer dipped pretzels to a plate or half baking sheet lined with parchment or silicon mat. Place in freezer until frozen.

Yoplait Trix Yogurt Dipped Strawberries

School starts for us in less than two weeks. Im already thinking about after school snacks. Something healthy and fun that will fill their tummies until dinner time. Strawberries and yogurt will fit that bill. Strawberries dipped in yogurt even better. I like to halve the strawberries because it makes them easier for smaller hands to snack on. It also helps them not to roll around on the plate once youve dipped them.
I container of Yoplait yogurt will go a long way. You can make as little or as many strawberries as you like. I like to make a large batch of these up and once frozen store them in a zip top bag in the freezer for easy snacking.

What youll need:
Yoplait Trix Yogurt of choice
strawberries halved

What to do:
1. Dip strawberries into yogurt.

2. Transfer dipped strawberries to a plate or half baking sheet lined with parchment or silicon mat. Place in freezer until frozen.

Double Rainbow YOPLAIT TRIX Parfaits

I love breakfast parfaits with yogurt and granola and lots of fresh berries, but my children seem less than enamored by them. Something about the crunchy and soft all rolled into a healthy package of hidden fruit, they say. Pish, I say. They gotta learn to love healthy sometime. • 1 carton YOPLAIT TRIX Cotton Candy Yogurt
• 1 carton YOPLAIT TRIX Strawberry Banana Bash Yogurt
• 3/4 cup TRIX cereal

Spoon the Cotton Candy yogurt into the bottom of a small, glass jar or mini trifle bowl. Top with half of the TRIX cereal, then the Strawberry Banana yogurt. Finish off with cereal, serve immediately and enjoy.

Makes one large or two small servings.
