We just got back from spending a few days at the beach. August is a wonderful time for a quick weekend trip because the beaches are always less crowded. To make sure a day of fun in the sun is actually FUN we have to do a little advance planning. In addition to packing: beach towels, sunscreen, extra change of clothing, and sand toys we have to make sure there are snacks and plenty of water to drink. To keep snacks separate and easy to grab we use Hefty Slider Bags. We can label each childs bag so they know whose is whose. No fighting is a good thing.
